How to Make a Sensory Environment at Home Booklet As part of my final project of University titled 'Sensory Playground- Interactive Light Pod', I created an online booklet for parents of children with Sensory Processing Disorder' to read and find out how to create a sensory environment at home at a low cost. This booklet has been made alongside my own sensory samples. During research carried out whilst making these samples I became aware of the very high cost of sensory equipment. Therefore, as a way to allow any household to create a sensory environment at home no matter what home, I created this booklet. The booklet has three sections: colour changing activities, Sensory textures, sensory lighting and sensory movement. The booklet includes a list of materials needed, whether the activity is child friendly, photos of the activity process for guidance and a YouTube video.
